New Delhi: Singer Arijit Singh recently made it to the headlines after he posted a public apology on his Facebook page.
The artist was seeking apology from Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. He was also pleading the actor to retain his song in his forthcoming movie ‘Sultan’.
However, Arijit later deleted that post. But it created a sensation in the social media. While some were criticising the singer for publicising the matter unnecessarily, some have been wondering what exactly went wrong between the two.
Well, it all began during an award function, a couple of years ago when Arijit had won the Best Singer Award.
A video of the incident is going viral now that features the incident. It shows Salman Khan questioning Arijit about what took him so long to reach the stage.
It was then that the singer cracked an ill-advised joke to the ‘Jai Ho’ actor, saying “Aap logon ne toh sula diya…” Even Salman gave a perfect reply to this, saying “Aur isme humara koi dosh nahi hai, agar aise hi gaane bajte rahenge…”
Though it seemed that everyone present was a sport on stage, it seems Salman took the incident to heart.
