New Delhi: Actress Anushka Sharma is all set to woo her fans with her upcoming movie ‘Sultan’. We have all seen how the lady has tried to perfect the role of a wrestler, she learnt all the moves and the Haryanavi language. If she has succeeded in doing so or no will only be clear once the movie hits theaters on Eid, 6th July.
But, as far as authenticity is concerned, looks like Anushka wants her character ‘Aarfa’ to be one of a kind. In fact, it is reported that she even had a tiff with they makers after they suggested something.
If media reports are to be believed, the makers of the movie wanted Anushka to sing the song ‘Jag Ghhomeya’. To enhance the feel of the song, it was suggested to her that she sit on a bar tool and sing the song on the microphone. But, media reports suggest that Anushka refused to do so.
The reason, you may ask. Well, reports suggest that she did not want any comparison with actress Alia Bhatt, who has already sung a song in the same manner for one of her movies. Alia, sang ‘Main Tenu Samjhawaan Ki’ for her movie ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya’; and the song became a hit.
Well, if there is even a shred of truth in these reports, we wonder what Alia Bhatt will say when she comes to know that Anushka felt this about singing.
Within a very short span of time and at a young age, Alia has established a strong foothold in the industry. With every movie she does, she is garnering applauds from critics.
So, it only seems legitimate that Anushka doesn’t want comparison with her, if these reports are true.
