Anushka Sharma's newly launched clothing line caught in a plagiarism row

Joining the bandwagon of Sonam Kapoor and sister Rhea Kapoor, Anushka Sharma too launched new clothing line NUSH but unfortunately things went unexpected. Within a week of the launch, the clothing line which comprises Anushka's personal style and choices has landed in a plagiarism row. It has been accused of ripping off designs from a Chinese online retailers.

Her exclusive 160 pieces of autumn-winter collection are available online and in major retail outlets across the country. The allegation came as a surprise because the promo video shared by the actress stressed upon the brainstorming sessions. It showed how the actress was particular about her choice and was involved in every step of the designing process. During the launch of the brand, Anushka reportedly said that she was so engrossed in the procedure that she would skip her meal. Her mother instead would remind her at that time. The actress also emphasised on how she supervised even minor details of her collection.


 
Reportedly, Anushka's spokesperson said that stringent action will be taken and further details will be shared once there is a clarity over the matter. The actress who was last seen in Jab Harry Met Sejal is gearing up for her next home production Pari.
