TV actress Ankita Lokhande, who is gearing up for her big Bollywood debut with Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, is angry on being constantly referred as actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s former girlfriend. The actress revealed to a leading daily that she has her own identity and she couldn’t understand why people still address her as Sushant’s ex-beau. She added that she wants people to focus on her work.
On being asked if she is still in touch with her ex, the actress said that she wouldn’t talk about it. Speculations are rife that the handsome hunk is dating his Raabta co-star Kriti Sanon and Ankita’s name was also linked to Beyhadh actor Kushal Tandon. Talking about that the gorgeous lady said that she and Kushal are just good friends.
Ankita will soon start shooting for Manikarnika, biopic on Rani Lakshmibai. She will be seen playing a pivotal role of Jhalkaribai in the film.
Ankita became a household name with her daily soap, Pavitra Rishta. The lady met Sushant on the sets and they fell in love. After dating for so long, both of them parted ways giving shock to all their fans.
Sushant has already made his place in the film industry and now it is Ankita’s turn to spell the magic.
