Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who started his journey in Bollywood with Saat Hindustani, shared a recital of a poem on the occasion. He completed his 49 glorious years in the Hindi film industry, inching closer to his golden jubilee. The 75-year-old actor shared a video of himself reciting the poem ‘Haan Main Likhta Hun’ for his fans on Facebook.

The Shehenshah of Bollywood then shared the link of his Facebook post on his Twitter handle, along with a throwback photo with his wife, Jaya Bachchan.

" My poem I wrote for my Blog .. now have recited it .. " he wrote alongside.

Senior Bachchan, as he is affectionately called, officially joined the film industry on February 15, 1969 when he signed his debut movie, 'Saat Hindustani'.

Sharing his thought on the same, he tweeted, "T 2615 - 49 years ago I came to the city of dreams and signed my first film .. "Saat Hindustani' on Feb 15, 1969 ..(sic)".

Senior Bachchan also shared some glimpses from his debut film alongside.

Yesterday, on the occasion of Valentine’s Day, he shared a throwback picture of himself with his wife Jaya Bachchan from the sets of Abhimaan. In the picture, Bachchan is caressing his wife’s forehead while the latter looks away shyly. The moment was captured candidly on the sets of 1973-hit.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will be sharing screen space with his Amar Akbar Anthony co-star Rishi Kapoor in 102 Not Out. He will also appear with Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in Thugs of Hindostan.
