Actress Alia Bhatt will soon be seen sharing the screen space with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the upcoming movie ‘Dear Zindagi’. The bubbly actress has revealed it was her dream to work with SRK, but she didn’t expect that it would be a reality someday.
“One of the biggest reasons is that I am working with Shah Rukh Khan for the first time and just working with him, being in one frame of the film..I never thought that dream would even come true,” Alia told a leading daily.
Alia further stated the second reason for doing ‘Dear Zindagi’ is a story that has never been told on the silver screen before.
“The second reason is that I feel it’s a very sweet, simple and unique story. It’s a story that’s never been told before and a narrative that’s not been opted before. I think Gauri (Shinde) has done a great job with the writing of the film. We hope, we as actors and the entire team have managed to put together a film that will be memorable,” added Alia.
Alia who is over the moon for sharing the screen space with King Khan in the movie, says that ending her year with a Shah Rukh Khan movie is like cherry on the cake. She also mentioned that ‘Dear Zindagi’ will be incomplete with having SRK in it.
“If you remove Shah Rukh Khan from Dear Zindagi then there is no film. In that way you can say that he is a very integral part of the film,” Alia was reported saying.
Directed by Gauri Shinde, ‘Dear Zindagi’ also stars Angad Bedi, Kunal Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur and Ali Zafar. The movie is scheduled to release on November 25.
