Actor Akshay Kumar, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha alongside Bhumi Pednekar, became the recent victim of internet trolls when he posted a picture holding the National flag upside down. Now, the actor has revealed what actually happened with the picture. He stated that he was unravelling the flag and on finding that he was holding it wrong, he tried to correct it and meanwhile, someone clicked his picture. Even, Akshay was not aware that his picture was clicked.

While speaking at the press conference of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, the actor talked about the incident and apologised once again if he hurt someone’s sentiments. Few days back, Khiladi Kumar was cheering Indian team at the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup held at The Lord's and posted some pictures on social media.

In one of the pictures he was seen holding the flag in a wrong way. After uproar, Akshay deleted the picture and also tweeted an apology.
He tweeted, “Extending my sincerest apology for violating the code of conduct for the tricolor.Didn't mean to offend anyone,the picture has been removed.”
On the professional front, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is slated to release on August 11. The actor is also occupied with the work of Gold alongside TV actress Maouni Roy. He will also be seen in his wife Twinkle Khanna’s production venture Padman alongside Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor.
