Gold is directed by Reema Kagti and is based on first-ever Olympic gold medal after Independence. The movie focuses on the Golden era of Indian hockey. Besides Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy, the film promises power-packed performances by an ensemble cast – Kunal Kapoor, Sunny Kaushal, Amit Sadh, Vineet Kumar Singh and Nikita Dutt. The film is all set to release on August 15.
