Actor Akshay Kumar, who will be seen making special appearance in Taapsee Pannu starrer ‘Naam Shabana’ attended the first screening of the film with female police officers and enjoyed the experience. The movie is spin-off based on Taapsee's character Shabana in 2015 film ‘Baby’.
Akshay, today shared the news on social media. The actor also shared a photograph of himself along with actress Taapsee Pannu in a theatre full of female police officers in uniform.
"Enjoyed my first screening of 'Naam Shabana' with these brave female police officers of Delhi last night. Nothing but respect," Akshay captioned the image on Tuesday morning.
Taapsee's character in "Baby" is what has resulted in its spin-off "Naam Shabana", produced by Neeraj Pandey and directed by Shivam Nair. The trailer of the film look promising and indicated that Akshay will have a good role in it.
The film, which also stars Anupam Kher and Danny Denzongpa along with Akshay and Taapsee. TRhe movie is slated to release on March 31.
