Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is riding high in his professional life these days. The year 2016 has been exceptionally good for him so far as everything he touches is turning gold.
Akki has given two movies this year – ‘Airlift’ and ‘Housefull 3’. Both the movies not just minted crores at the box office but also entered the coveted Rs 100-crore club.
And now the actor is ready with his third movie of the year ‘Rustom’. Taking in account the anticipation level amongst the audience for the movie, it is expected that ‘Rustom’ too will do exceptionally well at the box office.
Indeed, the Khiladi Kumar is over the moon with his success rate. Seems like the actor is now in a mood to cash in his success.
According to the recent buzz, the ‘Baby’ actor has hiked his price for his upcoming movie ‘Jolly LLB 2’, in which he will be playing the role of a lawyer.
Reportedly, the actor is charging Rs 1 crore per day for the movie.
Yes! Akshay has asked the makers of ‘Jolly LLB 2’ to pay him on daily basis.
Intrestingly, the actor was once quoted saying that he takes around 40-45 days to complete a movie. So if the reports turned out to be true, Akki will be charging over Rs 50 crores for ‘Jolly LLB 2’.
It is also reported that considering Akshay’s demand, the makers are now in a hurry to complete the movie as soon as possible.
Directed by Subhash Kapoor, ‘Jolly LLB 2’ also features Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor and Sourabh Shukla. The movie is slated to release on February 10, 2017.
