Aishwarya was supposed to start shooting of Fanney Khan from October 6. As per the latest reports, Aishwarya cancelled the shoot of the film as she was not very happy with the costume designed for her. Reportedly, Aishwarya’s costumes were designed by the ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra.
Interestingly, Aishwarya will be essaying a pop star in Fanney Khan and she wanted her costumes to be a bit edgier, but she was not happy with Manish’s design.
In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Prernaa Arora one of the co-producers of Fanney Khan said, "We were all set to shoot with Aishwarya this week but the costumes were not to her satisfaction. Costumes play a big role in the film as she portrays the character of a diva. She is creatively involved in every detail and since the costumes were not ready, she didn’t want to start work just yet."
Along with Aishwarya, Anil Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao are also part of Fanney Khan.
