Deepika Padukone, one of the talented B-town actresses, made her Bollywood debut with Om Shanti Om opposite Shah Rukh Khan. The Farah Khan film was a huge hit and people just fell in love with the pairing of Deepika and SRK. The duo then went on to do films such as Chennai Express and Happy New Year, which were appreciated by the audience to the fullest. Now, Deepika Padukone is all set to work with Shah Rukh Khan again in Aanand L Rai’s film. Before this, the Mastani of Bollywood will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama Padmavati, which also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
Deepika confirmed her role in Aanand L Rai ‘s movie starring SRK in a recent interview with a media channel. The 31-year-old actress said, "It’s a cameo and it was fun. Shah Rukh just called me up and said that they wanted to do something special and it happened. And I believe that if the heart is in the right place and just a call took place. Literally, he just called me and I think in a couple of days we shot. It was such fun. None of us felt like we were working. It was like a couple of friends catching up."
In the said film, Shah Rukh will be playing a dwarf and several other leading actresses such as Sridevi, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Karisma Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have also done cameo for the film. Reports also suggest that all these female stars will be playing themselves in the movie.
Furthermore, Bigg Boss 11 host and superstar Salman Khan will also be seen in a special role in the film.

The Shah Rukh Khan film, which is untitled as of now, is all set to release in Christmas 2018.
