Actor Ayushmann Khurrana, after showcasing his acting and singing skills in his last release Meri Pyaari Bindu opposite Parineeti Chopra, has started shooting for his next film Shoot The Piano Player, helmed by Sriram Raghavan.
The 32-year-old actor took to Instagram to share a picture from the sets of the movie. "I missed the match. But started something really exciting. Great day at office on day 1 in Pune. Sriram Raghavan's Shoot The Piano Player. #ShootBegins," wrote Ayushmann.
The photograph shows the "Meri Pyaari Bindu" actor sporting a slick-haired avatar, sitting in front of a piano in a dim-lit setting with the clap board ready for the next shot. The movie's director of photography is K U Mohananan.
The film is being produced by Matchbox Pictures and Viacom 18. Interestingly, "Shoot the Piano Player" is also the name of a 1960 French crime drama film directed by Francois Truffaut, starring Charles Aznavour as the protagonist.
