Actress Aditi Rao Hydari, who played the role of Mehrunisa in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat, has thanked the director for giving her the opportunity. The lady wrote a heartfelt message and thanked everyone for their support. She added that she felt blessed to be picked to essay the role. This is known to all that Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh played the lead roles in the film. However, Aditi’s role was kept under wraps.
Aditi took to social networking site Instagram and shared some of her pics as Mehrunisa. Aditi played the role of Ranveer’s wife in the film. After many protests and controversies, the movie finally released on January 25. Padmaavat is doing wonderful business at the box office. The film has crossed Rs 100 crore mark.
