New Delhi: Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan is quite busy these days. Thanks to the ongoing promotions of his forthcoming movie ‘Housefull 3’.
Indeed the actor is quite thrilled to be a part of the movie. However, when he was quizzed about his next projects, junior Bachchan revealed that he is no longer a part of ‘Hera Pheri 3’.
So far there had been reports about Abhishek being roped in for the third instalment in the ‘Hera Pheri’ franchise, but his sudden denial left everyone stumped.
On being probed further, the ‘Guru’ actor revealed the reason behind walking out the movie, saying “It just didn't work out.”
‘Hera Pheri 3’, to be directed by Neeraj Vora, was announced over a year ago and the shooting was to commence in June last year. However, there were also reports that the film got shelved due to various reasons.
Abhishek Bachchan also spoke about the much awaited ‘Dhoom 4’ at the recent media event. The actor has been part of all the three instalments of ‘Dhoom’ franchise. However, now it is being speculated that probably Ranvir Singh is being roped in for the movie.
So when AB was quizzed about this, he stated, “I am not aware of ‘Dhoom 4’. Generally Aditya Chopra calls me when the script is ready. That hasn't happened yet.”
Currently, Abhishek Bachchan is gearing up for the release of ‘Housefull 3’. The movie, which also stars Akshay Kumar, Rteish Deshmukh, Lisa Haydon, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nargis Fakhri, will hit the screens on June 3.
