Superstar Aamir Khan’s Dangal did earth-shattering collections in China and became one of the highest-grossing Indian movie of all time. Not only this, the flick also surpassed the collections of Prabhas starrer Baahubali: The Conclusion. Aamir is on cloud nine with the film’s response but do you know how much money he has made after the film hit the screens in China? Well, latest reports suggest that the superstar will get Rs 257 crore for the blockbuster.
Dangal got almost 9000 screens in China and collected Rs 86 crore on its opening day. In India, the lifetime collection of the film was Rs 387 crore. Thus, the film has set new benchmarks for all upcoming film. There is no denying that Mr. Perfectionist gave his blood, sweat tears to the project. So, it will not be wrong to say that he deserved the big amount.
SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 is all set to release in China and there are chances that it may break Dangal’s records. Whatever will be the verdict, but it is a proud moment for Indian cinema that movies of the country are doing wonders.
On a related note, Dangal was based on the real-life story of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and showcased his struggle to make his daughters world champions. The film was directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Along with Aamir, Dangal also featured actresses Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra and Sakshi Tanwar in pivotal roles.
