Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan, who is busy promoting her upcoming movie ‘31st October’, is all praises for her co-star from the movie Vir Das.
The actress shared her experience of sharing the screen space with the comedian-turned-actor and said that Vir is a great actor to work with.
Soha also mentioned that Vir’s performance in ‘31st October’ will surely change his stereotypical image of a comedian.
The movie is based on the aftermath of Indira Gandhi's assassination and its repercussions in India.
Vir is quite popular for his sense of humour and is often seen portraying similar roles on the silver screen.
It is for the first time, Vir will be seen portraying a serious role and Soha is quite impressed with his performance.
Soha revealed that Vir’s character in ‘31st October’ is quite easy-going and cheerful; however, the situation he faces is grave.
“It’s nice to see the characterisation of someone who is fun loving and happy suddenly face intense situations and changes them”, she added.
Directed by Shivaji Lotan Patil, ‘31st October’ is slated to release on October 7 and will clash with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Mirzya’ starring Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher.
