102 Not Out featuring veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor received positive response from cinema lovers and it is also doing a decent business at the box office. The film has minted Rs 2.83 cr on its fifth day and its overall collection now stands at Rs 22.50 cr. The movie showcases the beautiful father-daughter relationship. The box office numbers of 102 Not Out were shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh on social media.
Taran took to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “#102NotOut continues to WIN HEARTS and WOO BOXOFFICE... Shows SOLID TRENDING on weekdays... Tue biz is in similar range as Mon... Fri 3.52 cr, Sat 5.53 cr, Sun 7.60 cr, Mon 3.02 cr, Tue 2.83 cr. Total: ₹ 22.50 cr. India biz.”
In the film, Big B plays the role of Rishi’s father, who wants to send his son to the old age home. 102 Not Out is based on Gujarati play and is directed by Umesh Shukla. The movie was fighting the battle with Rajkummar Rao’s Omerta and it clearly emerged as the winner.
On a related note, Amitabh is also occupied with the work of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra. He will also be seen sharing the screen space with Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh starrer Thugs of Hindostan.
