Exit Poll 2022: Ahead of the counting day on March 10, India TV brings you Exit Polls of 5 states to gauge the mood of people in -- Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa, and Manipur -- where polling was held from February 10 to March 7.

Exit Poll 2022: BJP is set to retain power in Uttar Pradesh with a comfortable majority, and will also manage Uttarakhand, Goa, and Manipur, according to India TV-CNX Exit Poll.  Assembly elections in 5 states - Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa, and Manipur - concluded on March 7. The counting of votes will take place on March 10. Ahead of the result day, India TV conducted exit poll to gauge the mood of people and predict which party may have an edge over the other. Assembly elections in Goa, Uttarakhand were held in single-phase on February 14, Punjab on February 20. Manipur polls were held in two phases on February 28 and March 5 while the Uttar Pradesh election was held in 7 phases between February 10 to March 7. Excluding Punjab, the BJP is in power in all other four states. While exit polls have made their predictions, the wait is now for March 10, Result Day.

    According to India TV-CNX Exit Poll in Uttar Pradesh, BJP is set to retain power in the state with 240-250 seats, Samajwadi Party will also improve its 2017 tally and may win 140-150 seats, BSP may bag 6-12 seats, Congress 2-4 and others may get 0-2 seats.

    Uttarakhand Exit Poll CNX: BJP to emerge single largest party, to retain power

    Goa will see double-engine govt once again, says CM Pramod Sawant

    Speaking with India TV on Exit Poll prediction ahead of result day on March 10, Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant said that once again BJP will win in the state and there will be a double-engine government in Goa.

    "BJP will get 18-22 seats in Goa & will form the government. Our priority is to complete infrastructure projects of our double-engine government. As per exit polls also, BJP will return to power in UP, Uttarakhand, Goa, and Manipur and will have good performance in Punjab," Pramod Sawant said.

    UP Phase 7 Voting: 54.18% voter turnout recorded till 5 pm

    Till 5 pm, Uttar Pradesh has recorded around 54.18% voter turnout. Meanwhile, second-highest voter turnout was recorded in Sonbhadra till 3 pm. The second-highest voter turnout was recorded in Sonbhadra with 49.84 per cent followed by Bhadohi with 47.49 per cent.
