India TV's mega conclave Chunav Manch witnessed high-profile panel discussions, featuring political heavyweights including Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, Delhi's deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra and MP Pravesh Verma among others. The day-long conclave with India TV Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Rajat Sharma and other senior anchors featured several prominent leaders from across the political spectrum, all of them taking questions from hosts and guests. The event, began at 11 AM.
The event witnessed high-profile panel discussions featuring among others Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, Delhi's deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra, MP Pravesh Verma. The Congress was represented by its leaders Rajeev Tyagi, Ragini Nayak and Rashid Alvi. Themed around the upcoming Delhi state elections, the discussions saw heated debates on the ongoing Citizenship Amendment Act protests in Shaheen Bagh, with a clear line drawn between those supporting the demands of the protestors and those on the other side. Polling for elections in Delhi will be held on February 8 and the counting of votes will take place on February 11. The Delhi Assembly Election 2020 will be a three-cornered contest between the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the BJP and the Congress.
The Aam Aadmi Party is seeking another term in power, five years after it registered a landslide victory in the 70-member Assembly winning 67 seats.

Explaining the worsening Class 10 results under the AAP government, Sisodia said that this was due to the change in education rules.
"We have rescued the schools from the cobwebs. Look at the state of the government schools in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, both states ruled by the BJP," he said, adding that Delhi's government schools were way better than those in other states.
"We have strived hard to bring government school on par with private schools," he said.
