Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) released its candidate list for Delhi Legislative Assembly elections 2020 on Tuesday evening (December 14). The party is, understandably, contesting on all 70 seats of the Delhi legislative assembly. 46 of AAP's sitting MLAs have got a go-ahead from the party to contest in Delhi Elections again. However, AAP has denied ticket to 15 of sitting MLAs. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be eager to retain his post as he will contest from New Delhi assembly constituency.
Another noteworthy fact is Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has fielded more women candidates than it had in 2015 Delhi Legislative Assembly elections. In 2015 Delhi elections, AAP had fielded 6 women candidate but for 2020 Delhi assembly elections, 8 women candidates have been awarded ticket by the party. Here is the whole list.
