Top BJP leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party chief Amit Shah and Union Minister Uma Bharti will hit campaign trail in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday for the upcoming assembly elections. PM Modi has a tight-packed schedule in the state as he will address public gatherings in Chhindwara and Indore.
PM Modi left no stones unturned as he launched blistering attack against Congress while addressing a poll rally in Gwalior on Friday.
Launching a scathing attack on state Congress president Kamal Nath, PM Modi wondered how can a party chief, who is unable to decide the CM face, take decisions about the future of the people.
“How can a party chief, who cannot even decide who will be the chief minister, decide your future,” the prime minister asked.
The prime minister will again visit Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday and address public meetings in Jhabua and Rewa districts.
Three days later, on Saturday, Modi will return to the state and address public meetings in Mandsaur and Chhattarpur districts, Singh said.
The next day (November 25), he will deliver speeches in Vidisha and Jabalpur districts.
On the other hand, Congress chief Amit Shah will hit campaign trail in Singrauli, Umariya, Churhat, Devtalab and Maihar.
Earlier on Thursday, addressing a poll rally in the state, Amit Shah attacked the Congress party and asked who is the grand old party's leader in the state?
Union Minister Uma Bharti is also scheduled to address gatherings in the state in five places- Lahar, Bamore Kalan, Budera, Indergarh and Lidhora.
Elections to the 230 assembly constituencies in the state will be held on November 28. Counting of votes will take place on December 11.
