LS polls 2019: Janwadi Party and Nishad Party join SP-BSP-RLD alliance in Uttar Pradesh

It is pertinent to mention here that the state sends the largest number of MPs (80) to Indian Parliament.

Alliance in Uttar Pradesh is getting bigger and bigger. Beside Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party and Rashtriya Lok Dal, Janwadi Party and Nishad Party have also decided to be part of the alliance.

"Nishad Party and Janvadi Party (Socialist) are now a part of Samajwadi Party-Bahujan Samaj Party-Rashtriya Lok Dal alliance in Uttar Pradesh," ANI quoted said SP chief Akhilesh Yadav as saying.

It is pertinent to mention here that the state sends the largest number of MPs (80) to Indian Parliament and it is being said that the one who rules the UP rules the country.

General elections are scheduled to be held in seven phases from 11 April to 19 May 2019 to constitute the 17th Lok Sabha. The counting of votes will be conducted on 23 May, and on the same day, the results will be declared.

Legislative Assembly elections in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha and Sikkim will be held simultaneously with the general elections.
