Lok Sabha elections 2019: To reach out to the electorate, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has planned a mega two-phase campaign ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2019. The drive will involve nearly three lakh party volunteers and there is a plan to conduct door-to-door campaigns.

Before the general elections, to reach out to voters in the seven parliamentary constituencies in the national capital, AAP will launch its campaigns-First in November/December and again in March/April.

If the election is preponed, the second round of door-to-door campaign will be held in January/February, AAP's Delhi unit convener Gopal Rai said, reported news agency PTI.

"We will highlight the achievements of the party-led government in Delhi, besides focussing on failures and misrule of the BJP government at the Centre during the campaign," Rai said, the news agency further reported.

It may be recalled that in 2014 general polls, the AAP drew a blank in Delhi. 

The Lok Sabha elections 2019 will take place in the months of April-May to constitute the 17th Lok Sabha.
