To know the pulse of the people in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2019, India TV conducted an opinion poll with CNX. To constitute the 17th Lok Sabha, General Elections are due to be held in India in April or May 2019. By first-past-the-post voting, the 543 members of the Lok Sabha will be elected from single-member constituencies.
India TV-CNX conducted the opinion poll in three big states-- Bihar, Maharashtra and Gujarat. The survey was done between 1st and 14th November in these three states.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) won. Running in nine phases from 7 April to 12 May 2014, it was the longest election in India's history. For the 543 Lok Sabha seats, a total of 8,251 candidates contested.
