No Season 8 spoilers ahead!

The country is divided between two manias right now - Game of Thrones and Lok Sabha Elections. But even as the nation could beg, steal or borrow the latest GoT episode, which went on air this morning, DMK has come out with its own version of the show. In this version, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a whitewaker and Rahul Gandhi is Daenerys Targaryen, no less.

And no points for guessing who Jon Snow is - DMK chief MK Stalin himself.

In a video clip released just days before Tamil Nadu goes to polls, DMK supporters have decided to pay tribute to the show by explaining it with analogies from Tamil Nadu politics and multiple plotlines of Game of Thrones, The News Minute reported. According to the news website, the DMK workers have shared this 2.59 min video via WhatsApp.

The video begins with a narration of the pre-GoT era: 'several hundred years ago, in the north there were whitewalkers or zombies roaming', The pictures of saffron flags are displayed as the clip compares it to 'India’s north – where there is a fascist government promoting caste fanaticism, religious fanaticism, and Hindi fanaticism'.

The video compares the Night’s Watch, who build a wall to prevent the whitewalkers from coming from the north to the south, to Dravidian leader and rationalist thinker Periyar. The narrator then moves to the present storyline, comparing the Seven Kingdoms in Game of Thrones to Tamil Nadu. “There’s Robert Baratheon and Ned Stark – both of them are friends. Like MGR and Karunanidhi,” points out the clip and then goes on to depict MGR’s successor Jayalalithaa to Cersei, Robert Baratheon’s wife.

Comparing the rivalry of DMK and AIADMK to the clash between Ned Stark and Cersei’s families, the clip then shifts to the death of Ned Stark, or Karunanidhi in DMK’s version of GoT.  Robb Stark, the eldest son of Ned, who loses his life 'after taking many wrong decisions', has been likened to Karunanidhi’s elder son Alagiri and his now 'finished political career'.

In this version of Game of Thrones, DMK President MK Stalin is none other than Jon Snow, while Sansa is Kanimozhi and Arya is A Raja, who the narrator argues has emerged a warrior after being acquitted in the 2G case.

Daenerys Targaryen, you guessed it, is Congress President Rahul Gandhi, with the whitewalker being Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the clip says.

The video says that Cersei chose not to fight against the Whitewalkers, pushing the reference that with saying that 'Palaniswami has gone one level above and allied with the whitewalkers'. The AIADMK has allied with the BJP for the Lok Sabha Elections.

“Will Jon Snow and Daenerys save the Seven Kingdoms from whitewalkers? We will know on April 14. But will Stalin be able to save Tamil Nadu from Modi’s whitewalkers? You will have to decide on April 18,” the clip concludes.

Tamil Nadu goes to polls in the second phase of the general elections on April 18. The results of the Lok Sabha elections will be out on May 23.
