Congress writes to EC for prohibiting CMs of T'gana, MP, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh from issuing any advertisement by using public money

Presently, K Chandrashekar Rao is the caretaker CM of Telangana while Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Vasundhara Raje and Raman Singh are the CMs of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, respectively.

The Congress party on Sunday wrote to the Election Commission of India (ECI) for prohibiting Telangana caretaker CM and the Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh from issuing any advertisement by using public money.

Presently, K Chandrashekar Rao is the caretaker CM of Telangana while Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Vasundhara Raje and Raman Singh are the CMs of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, respectively.

The assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh are slated for the year-end. The assembly elections in Telangana are also likely to take place at the same time.
