The Congress party on Friday came out with its seventh list of 35 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The list had Uttar Pradesh state unit chief Raj Babbar's name from Fatehpur Sikri instead of the earlier announced Moradabad. Now, Imran Pratapgarhiya has been nominated fom Moradabad.
The party fielded former Union Minister Renuka Chowdhury from Khammam in Telangana. The party also fielded Vikramaditya Singh, the son of former Union Minister Karan Singh, from Udhampur constituency in Jammu and Kashmir. The Congress also released a list of 54 candidates for Odisha Assembly election.
Voting for the Lok Sabha elections will begin on April 11 and continue for over a month till May 19 across seven phases. The results will be declared on on May 23.
