Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was slapped by a man during a roadshow in Delhi for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections on Saturday.

The Aam Aadmi Party chief was slapped when he was waving to the people gathering in his roadshow in Moti Nagar area . 

In the video, a man wearing a red shirt can be seen climbing atop the open jeep and slapping Kejriwal across the face before he is pulled off the jeep.

However, the AAP blamed the opposition and called it a ‘sponsored attack’.

Meanwhile, AAP's rebel legislator Kapil Mishra took to twitter to say that the slap on Delhi CM was staged.

This is not the first time that his security has been breached. In November 2018, a man had attacked the Chief Minister with chilli powder inside the Delhi Secretariat.

In 2016, a man had thrown a shoe at Kejriwal. Around the same time, a woman had also thrown ink on him at a “thanksgiving” gathering at Chhatrasal Stadium.

In 2014,Kejriwal was slapped by a auto-rickshaw driver during a roadshow in Sultanpuri area of North West Delhi.

The man slapped Kejriwal when he was shaking hands with his supporters.
