West Bengal UG admission 2024 registration: The West Bengal Council of Higher Education (WBCHSE) has started the online registration process for undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2024-25. Candidates can submit their application forms from today onwards, June 24. The application window will remain open till July 7. Candidates can submit their WB UG admission 2024 forms on the newly launched centralized admission portal - wbcap.in.
Candidates who have passed the class 12th board exam or equivalent exam can submit applications on the online centralized portal. Candidates can follow the easy steps given below for registration process.

- Click on the 'registration' link
- It will redirect you to a new window where you need to provide your mobile number, email id to register
- On successful registration, proceed with the application form
- Upload documents, fill course preferences and submit the application form
- Take a printout of the West Bengal UG admission 2024 registration form for future reference

Candidates will require the following documents while submitting the West Bengal UG admission 2024 registration form.
- Proof of date of birth
- Class 12 registration certificate or documents showing unique ID number
- Class 10 marksheet
- Class 12 marksheet
- Relevant social category certificate if applicable
- PWD certificate (if applicable)
- EWS certificate (if applicable)

Who can apply for admission?
All those who have passed higher secondary or its equivalent exam can register themselves in the centralized admission portal, subject to certain restrictions in terms of the year of passing as set by the concerned universities.
Which colleges/universities are not included in the centralized admission portal?
Presidency University, Jadavpur University, Autonomous Colleges, Minority Educational Institutes/Colleges, B.Ed., Law, Fine Arts and Performing Arts, Crafts, Dance, Music Colleges/Courses, colleges offering engineering, pharmacy, nursing, medical courses and self-financing/private colleges shall be out of the purview of the Centralised Admission Portal
