UGC NET admit card 2024 to be out soon at ugcnet.nta.ac.in, how to download
UGC NET admit card 2024 will be released soon by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates who registered for the UGC NET 2024 exam can download their call letters from the official website, once released.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the University Grants Commission- National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) admit cards. Once released, the candidates will be able to access and check their admit cards on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
This year, the National Testing Agency will conduct the UGC NET exams on June 18 to determine the eligibility of eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship for Indian universities and colleges. It is expected that the testing agency will release the admit card this week. However, there is no specific date mentioned by the NTA regarding the release of admit cards. The application process was open till May 19 and the correction window closed on May 23. NTA released the city intimation slip on June 7.
UGC NET 2024: Steps to download the admit card
Candidates can follow the mentioned steps to download their admit cards:-
- Visit the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
- Click on the link 'UGC NET Admit Card 2024'.
- A login window will open. Enter the required login credentials - application number and date of birth.
- Click on 'Submit'.
- The admit card of UGC NET will be displayed on the screen.
- Save and download it for future reference.

UGC NET 2024: Exam Pattern
The exam will consist of two papers - Paper I for 100 marks and Paper II for 200 marks. The exams will be held in two shifts, the first shift will be conducted from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the second shift from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The exam will consist of objective-type, multiple-choice questions. For every correct answer, the candidates will receive 2 marks and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
UGC NET: Last year's December session exam
The NET exam was conducted from December 6 to 19 in computer-based test (CBT) mode for 83 subjects in 292 cities across the nation. A total of 9,45,872 candidates registered themselves, out of which 6,95,928 candidates appeared for the exam and the result was declared on January 19, 2024.
