NEET UG 2024 Result Row: NTA to conduct re-medical exam for 1,563 candidates, results before June 30

NEET UG 2024 re-exam date for 1,563 candidates have been announced for the candidates who were given grace marks. As per the NTA, the re-exam will be conducted on June 23 and the results for the same will be announced on June 30.

NEET UG 2024 results 2024 for 1563 candidates have been cancelled after the hearing in the supreme court. This decision affects candidates who were given grace marks. These students will have an option to appear in the NEET UG 2024 re-test. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that it will conduct the re-exam for these candidates on June 23, with the results set to be released before June 30. After that, these candidates will be eligible to appear in the counselling session which is set to be conducted on July 6th. 

The Supreme Court further said that everyone cannot apply for retest. Only those candidates whose time was reduced can apply for this retest. CLAT judgment is not being applied here.

NEET UG result 2024 cancellation and other two pleas are being taken in the Supreme Court today, June 13. Among the three petitions, the court has disposed of the petition in which grace marking was discussed. The Supreme Court sought a reply to the other petitions within 2 weeks.

Of these three petitions, one petition has been filed by the chief executive of EdTech firm ‘Physics Wallah', who claimed that the NTA's decision to award gace marks 'arbitrary'. Other two please has been filed by Abdullah Mohammed Faiz and Jaripiti Kartheek separately.

On the Supreme Court's hearing on the NEET-UG 2024 exam, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan says "There is no corruption. In connection with the NEET examination, 24 lakh students appear in the examination. A hearing in the Supreme Court is underway today and this issue is regarding around 1,500 students. Govt is ready to give answers to the Court. This specific issue is being taken into consideration and a committee of academicians has been formed. The Govt will present this in front of the Court...NTA conducts 3 major examinations that is NEET, JEE and CUET successfully in the country...We will take action against the people responsible..
