Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has postponed the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) due to a clash with the final semester exams of some universities. The exam authority will announce the new exam dates later.
The Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam was scheduled to be conducted on July 13 and 14 at various exam centres for admission to MCA, MBA, ME, MArch, and MTech courses.
The decision to postpone the exam has been taken after receiving several requests from the students due to their final semester exam scheduled to be conducted on the same date.
According to a notice accessed by local media, Many students have submitted requests to KEA for postponement of the PGCET 2024 exam scheduled to be conducted on July 13 and 14 a few universities are commencing final semester exams from July 5th to 10th. To protect the student's interest, KEA has postponed the PGCET 2024 exam scheduled to be held on July 13 and 14 and the revised dates will be published on the KEA website in due course.
Karnataka PGCET 2024 registration window reopens
Moreover, it should be noted that the exam authority will today reopen the Karnataka PGCET 2024 registration window. Candidates who are yet to apply for Karnataka PGCET 2024 can register themselves before July 7 at kea.kar.nic.in. The last date for submitting online application forms along with the application fee is July 9 at 6 pm.
Karnataka PGCET 2024 registration fee
Candidates belonging to the General and Other Backward Classes are required to pay Rs. 650 as a registration fee. For the scheduled caste, and scheduled tribe, the fee is Rs. 500. The candidates can pay the application fee using credit cards, debit cards, UPI, or net banking. Candidates are advised to regularly check the KEA website for the latest updates on the new exam dates and other relevant information.
