JoSAA Counselling 2024 dates: The Join Seat Allocation Authority has released the counselling schedule for the new academic year 2024-25. All those who have qualified for the JEE exam can download the counselling schedule from the official website, josaa.nic.in.
As per the schedule, the JoSAA counselling procedure will be conducted in five rounds for admission at various IITs, NIITs, IIITs, IIESt, IIIT, and GFTIs. The registration process will commence on June 10 and conclude on June 18 on the official website, josaa.nic.in. No further chance will be given to candidates after the conclusion of the registration process. All those who have qualified in the JEE exam and JEE advanced exam can take admission to their choice of subject at NIITs, IIITs, IIESt, IIIT, and GFTIs.
In order to participate in the JoSAA Counselling 2024 procedure, the candidates will have to register themselves and select courses of their choice. It should be noted that the counselling process involves completion of the registration process, filling out the choices, and lastly allotment into various colleges.
The candidate will have an opportunity to select as many choices as they want but the candidates are advised to add colleges based on the marks obtained in the JEE exam. The allotment of the seats will be done based on the candidate's ranking and choice of subject. The candidates will have the option of withdrawing and exiting from seat allocation. Last year, the counselling procedure had six stages.
