CUET UG 2024 CBT tomorrow: Admit cards available on exams.nta.ac.in, check documents list, instructions

NTA is all set to conduct the CUET UG 2024 exam from May 21 to May 24, 2024, which will be held in CBT mode. Here is a list of documents and instructions required for the exam.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct the computer-based test for Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG). The admit cards for CUET UG 2024 CBT have already been uploaded to the official website. All those who have yet not downloaded their call letters can download it from the official website, exams.nta.ac.in or cuet.ug.ntaonline.in.

The admit cards are released for the CBT exams taking place on May 21, 22 and 24. As per the schedule, the National Testing Agency is conducting the Common University Entrance Test (UG) 2024 from May 15 to 31. This year the exams are taking place in hybrid mode at 350 exam centres across the nation, including 26 centres outside of India. The answer key is expected to be released by the fourth week of June.

“ Admit Cards for Common University Entrance Test (UG) – 2024 are now being released for 48 subjects (including 31 languages and 17 domain-specific subjects) scheduled to be conducted in the CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode for aforesaid examination on 21, 22 and 24 May 2024.” - NTA mentioned in the official public notice.

“The candidates are advised to carefully read the Subject-Specific Instructions and other instructions mentioned in the Question paper and abide by the same.” - reads the official notice.

Over 13.48 lakh students signed up for CUET this year, picking a whopping 57.95 lakh different subject combinations! That's a lot of different test choices.  Out of these, around 93% (or 53.91 lakh combinations) were for the pen and paper mode of the exam, which happened from May 15th to 18th. 

The exam organizers made sure things ran smoothly for students taking multiple subjects. They were scheduled for their exams at the same center and even had their first two exams in the same room to avoid any hassle. There were also plenty of breaks in between exam shifts for these students.

In order to download Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) admit cards, the candidates are required to follow the instructions given below.  

Steps to download CUET 2024 admit card

  • Visit the official website, exams.nta.ac.in
  • Navigate to the CUET UG 2024 admit card link
  • Click on the login
  • Enter the CUET 2024 application number and password
  • Click on 'submit' button
  • CUET 2024 admit card will appear on the screen
  • Download CUET 2024 admit card and save it for future reference

Documents required 

The candidates need to carry these documents to the exam centres for security checking and verification. If anybody fails, they won't be allowed to appear in the exam.s

  • CUET admit card 2024 with self-declaration form
  • Photo identity proof - Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Passport, School ID

Instructions:

Candidates are required to follow these instructions while appearing for the CUET UG 2024. Otherwise, they won't be allowed to sit in the examination hall.

  • You need to download the admit card and print it
  • Pick a valid photo ID for verification at the exam centre
  • Avoid anything that could be used for unfair means
  • Don’t carry any electronic devices, wallets, purses, or notebooks, as these are strictly prohibited
  • Try to reach the exam centre at least 1-2 hours before the exam begins for easy security check and settling in
  • Locate the assigned computer based on the roll number displayed in the exam hall
  • Use the provided credentials to login 
  • Carefully read the on-screen instructions
  • Carefully select the answers for each question
  • Review the answers before submitting
  • The exam will automatically end at the designated time, so try to finish it in the right amount of time
