The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on Monday night declared the results of the combined graduate level (CGL) examination 2017, Tier I on its official website ssc.nic.in. The exams were held in August and the results were scheduled to be declared on October 31.
The CGL examinations are held every year by the SSC to fill vacant posts in various ministries departments of the central government. Nearly 30.26 lakh candidates had registered for the exams of which over 14 lakh candidates appeared. CGL 2017 Tier I was conducted from August 5 to 24 August at various centres across the country and were held in 43 batches.
Candidates who had appeared for the tier I exam can check their results on the official website, ssc.nic.in.
Steps to check SSC CGL 2017 examination:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission - ssc.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the ‘results’ section.
Step 3: Of the two options – write up and results - click on results.
Step 4: Check your name and roll number in the pdf file.
Step 5: To view category-wise cut-off marks, click on ‘write-up’.
Step 6: Check and download the results for future reference.
The official website might be slow due to heavy traffic. Candidates are advised to view their scores after some time.
Successful candidates will now have to sit for Tier-II exam. A candidate will be declared qualified for after she passes Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III and crosses the combined cut-off marks.
