NEET Result 2019 declared: Rajasthan boy Nalin Khandelwal has emerged as the All India topper in NEET Exam. Who is NEET All India topper?

Nalin Khandelwal, hailing from Rajasthan, has emerged as the All India topper in NEET Exam 2019. He has scored 701 out of 720. Delhi's Bhavik Bansal has emerged as the second All India topper. Third All India topper is Akshat Kaushik from Uttar Pradesh. Both second and third toppers have scored 700 marks in total. Topper among girls is Telangana's Madhuri Reddy, whose All India rank is 7. She has scored 695 marks out of 720.

Step 2: Click on 'NEET Exam Results 2019' link.

Step 3: Enter all required details to get your NTA NEET Result 2019

Step 4: Click on the 'submit' button

Step 5: Take a print out for future reference

NEET merit list and admission:

NTA will prepare the NEET 2019 Merit list as per the directives of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Medical Council of India (MC) and Dental Council of India (DCI). Admission procedure will be done in accordance with NEET Medical merit list 2019, NEET Dental merit list 2019.

Category-wise NEET merit list:

General category: Candidates need to secure minimum 50 per cent to be considered for the NEET 2019 merit list.

SC/ST/others: 40 percentile are minimum marks to be secured for those belonging to reserved including SC and ST category.

PWD: For PwD candidates it is 45 percentile.

NEET 2019 Counselling:

NTA will announce the counselling process as soon as NEET 2019 result is announced. The schedule for NEET counselling will be uploaded on the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) homepage. Last year, the first phase of NEET 2018 counselling was held from August 31 to September 3.

NEET 2019 result: Reservation of seats in government medical colleges

SC candidates: 15% seats

ST candidates: 7.5% seats

27% seats are reserved for OBC candidates

National Testing Agency (NTA) has been established as an autonomous organization to conduct entrance examinations for admission/fellowship in higher educational institutions.

As per regulations framed under the Indian Medical Council Act -1956 and the Dentists Act-1948, NEET (UG) 2019 was be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Indian Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India except for AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.
