The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which conducted the JEE main 2018 exam in offline mode on April 15 and in online mode on April 16, is likely to announce the JEE Main Result 2018 by April 30, 2018.
The result will be declared on the official result websites www.results.nic.in and jeemain.nic.in.
Around 12.43 lakh students appeared for offline exam, whereas 2.16 lakh students appeared for exam in online mode.
Before the declaration of results, the CBSE will release the official answer keys for the exam.
Based on the results, the top 2,24,000 students will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2018 examination, which will be conducted on May 20, 2018.
The online registration for JEE Advanced 2018 exam will begin on May 2, 2018.
For JEE Main 2017 exam, a total of 1,186,454 had registered for the exam, of which 2,21,427 had qualified for appearing in JEE Advanced exam.
