About JEE Advanced 2018

The JEE advanced exam was conducted on May 20, 2018 after the JEE mains results declared in April this year. Over 1,60,000 students appeared for the JEE Advanced exam this year.

The JEE Advanced is conducted for admissions in 23 IITs and NITs across the country. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the computer-based test (CBT) in two phases.

However, qualifying in JEE Advanced (2018), filling up choices and/or participating in the joint seat allocation process do not guarantee a candidate to get admission in IITs. Admission will depend on the availability of seats during various rounds of seat allocation.

Candidates should note that the exact date and time for the JEE Advanced 2018 results have not been confirmed by the IIT Kanpur.

For the first time, this year the JEE Advanced was conducted online and as a result the candidates did not have the hard copy of their question papers.
