Five inmates, including three life convicts, of the district jail in Muzaffarnagar have scored first division in class 10 board exams of the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP).
According to Jail Superintendent A K Saxena, the inmates had appeared for the exams in Dasna Jail, Ghaziabad.
"The three life convicts passing the examination are Kapil, Pankaj and Vipul Kumar. Arjun, detained under the National Security Act in connection with violence during a Dalit agitation on April 2, 2017, is also among the five to pass the examination with first division", Jail Superintendent Saxena said.
The Uttar Pradesh Board Results 2019 for Class 10 and Class 12 were declared yesterday by the Uttar Pradesh Board. Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad or the UPMSP was expected to release the UP Board Result 2019 at 12:30 pm yesterday.
Gautam Raghuvanshi topped the Uttar Pradesh Board High School exam with 97.17% marks. Shivam secured second spot with 97% marks and Tanuja Vishwakarma secured the third position with 96.83% marks. The UP Board Class 10 Result 2019 results were hosted by UPMSP at upmsp.edu.in.
