Coal India says recruitment posted by SCCL offering 80,000 jobs is fake | Update

UPDATE: A recent job notification of 'South Central Coalfields Limited' offering over 80,000 jobs has turned out to be fake. Coal India Limited clarified that it has no such company in this name. It said the employment notice and the said company is fake and fraudulent. 

The company claims to be a subsidiary company under Coal India Limited, a Govt of India undertaking under Ministry of Coal. It has also designed a web page under the link www.scclcil.in. However, it is said to be completely fabricated. 

Here's what Coal India further said: "In this connection, it is to inform that, Coal India Limited ( CIL) is a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise operates through 82 mining Area in CIL is an apex body with 7 wholly owned coal producing subsidiaries and 01 mine planning and consultancy company spread over 8 provincial states of India viz. Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL), Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) & Central Mine Planning & Design Institute (CMPDI)."

Earlier, over 80,000 vacancies for the posts of Junior Engineer, MTS Surveyor, Accounts Clerk, Accountant, Junior Clerk, Computer Operator, Stenographer, Secretarial Assistant, among others, were notified by the said "fake" company. 

An earlier story citing SCCL Recruitment said that there were 80,000 jobs up for grabs. However, based on these emergent facts, it has now turned out to be fake. Indiatvnews.com has updated the story to incorporate the facts and remove vacancies which never existed.
