Delhi Police and the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team have exited the residence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. According to sources, the police have taken dumps of several CCTV cameras installed at the location.

Sources indicate that the Delhi Police team will return tomorrow morning for further investigation. They have collected CCTV footage from entry and exit points, which has been stored on a pen drive for detailed examination. The ongoing investigation aims to clarify the sequence of events related to the recent allegations and incidents at the CM's residence.

BJP leader Shazia Ilmi has strongly condemned AAP Minister Atishi's remarks regarding Swati Maliwal, accusing her of victim shaming and lying about the assault case involving Bibhav Kumar, the personal assistant to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Ilmi expressed outrage over Atishi's dismissal of Maliwal's allegations, highlighting the lack of support from a fellow woman.

Ilmi stated, "It is a matter of great shame how Atishi Marlena is trashing and victim shaming Swati Maliwal, many years her senior in the party. Being a woman, instead of expressing sympathy for Swati, she is lying blatantly."

Swati Maliwal has raised serious allegations, claiming that efforts are being made to tamper with CCTV footage from the residence of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Maliwal, who recently filed an FIR alleging assault by Bibhav Kumar, Kejriwal's assistant, has stated that she received information about the tampering.

Maliwal’s accusations come amid the ongoing investigation into her assault claims. She asserts that the tampering is an attempt to distort the evidence and undermine her case. "I have received information that they are now tampering with the CCTV footage from the house," she said, raising concerns about the integrity of the investigation.

In a new development, Bibhav Kumar, the personal assistant to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, has filed a complaint against AAP MP Swati Maliwal, accusing her of assault. The complaint followed an earlier FIR registered by Maliwal against Kumar, alleging physical assault at the CM's official residence.

A forensic team has wrapped up its investigation at the residence of Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener, Arvind Kejriwal, in Delhi.

AAP MP Swati Maliwal departed from Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence after police recreated the events of the alleged May 13 incident for their investigation. The police conducted a detailed recreation of the events that allegedly transpired on May 13, aiming to gather crucial evidence and clarify the sequence of events.

Swati Maliwal, Chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Women, was escorted by Delhi Police to the drawing room where she was allegedly assaulted. On May 13, the Chief Minister's House requested details of police personnel present at the premises. This request was made to the Head of Police Security.

At 4:40 PM, a team from Delhi Police and the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) visited the Chief Minister's House to gather statements from the staff present during the incident.

Equipped with new equipment, an FSL team entered the Chief Minister's House at 6:30 PM to conduct an investigation.

The police are currently mapping out the drawing room where the alleged assault took place. Swati Maliwal is being questioned regarding the individuals present in the drawing room on May 13 and their respective locations during the incident.

As investigations continue into the assault on Swati Maliwal, the police are diligently gathering evidence to ascertain the sequence of events and individuals involved in the incident at the Chief Minister's House.

AAP minister Atishi on Friday addressed a press conference on Swati Maliwal's alleged assault case and said that allegations levelled by AAP's Rajya Sabha MP are completely 'baseless'. She (Atishi) further alleged that its a conspiracy by the BJP to frame Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Delhi Police will recreate the crime scene at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence with Swati Maliwal. The entire incident from the entry point to the drawing room will be understood with Swati so that the investigation can be carried forward accordingly, say reports.

Amidst the ongoing discourse surrounding the Swati Maliwal case, Congress leader Alka Lamba has urged for reliance on the judicial process to determine the case's merits. Lamba's statement underscores the significance of refraining from forming opinions solely based on public discourse.

Lamba emphasises the importance of allowing the judiciary to independently assess the case, highlighting the need to avoid preconceived notions influenced by external narratives.

“We should let the judiciary decide the merit of this case; it is better not to form an opinion based on what is being said anywhere. Swati Maliwal is a strong woman and even her party leaders have accepted that wrong has been done to her. Interestingly, BJP has come forward to seek justice for her. The NCW never sent notice to Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh or Prajwal Revanna, but they have sent notice in this case. I am pretty sure justice will be served to her,” says Congress leader Alka Lamba.

In the latest developments regarding the Swati Maliwal 'assault' case, a police team has arrived at the scene to begin their investigation. The incident has garnered significant attention, prompting swift action from law enforcement.

Adding to the investigation efforts, a forensic team is also expected to visit the Chief Minister's house shortly. Their presence will be crucial in gathering evidence and providing detailed insights into the case.

BJP leader Shazia Ilmi commented on the assault case involving AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal, stating that Maliwal appeared visibly in pain following her medical examination. "The FIR is now out. Her statement is painful," Ilmi remarked.

Ilmi elaborated that Maliwal was abused and slapped six times, with her assailant, identified as Bibhav, repeatedly hitting and kicking her. Ilmi claimed, "Bibhav kept on hitting and kicking her... She is their old colleague... This shows how their mentality is."

Ilmi accused the AAP of harboring violence and hooliganism within its ranks. She stated, "There is violence and hooliganism in their party, and it is out in the open now. I have also faced this. It is too much that no self-respecting person can tolerate."

Minutes after the Aam Aadmi Party released a video about the alleged assault on Swati Maliwal, the former NCW chief also hit back with a lengthy post on social media. "What Swati Maliwal's FIR reflects, it shakes the soul. She was not only slapped but attempts were made to remove her clothes, and it was outraging of modesty and not just assaulting what had been done to her despite her being in period," BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla said.

"AAP and Congress, both these parties are anti-women party. If such a big incident has happened and Sanjay Singh himself has accepted it, FIR has been lodged then why that Bibhav Kumar roaming around with Arvind Kejriwal?" BJP leader Radhika Khera said.

"Officers of the NCW, along with the ACP of Civil Lines, New Delhi, attempted to serve a Notice of Hearing to Bibhav Kumar at his residence. When the occupants of the house refused to accept the notice, the officers affixed it on the gate of his residence. The hearing is scheduled for 18th May at the NCW Office," NCW said.

National Commission for Women chief Rekha Sharma on Friday (May 17) came down heavily on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and said that he has “chosen his side” and “does not want to be on Swati Maliwal’s end”. Detailing on the Maliwal’s assault case, Sharma said that if Kejriwal is involved in the May 13 alleged incident that took place at the CM residence, police and NCW will take action against him. Rekha’s remarks came while speaking to the media, a day after the Delhi Police registered a case based on the former DCW chief’s statement.

The Aam Aadmi Party on Friday (May 17) released a video named "Swati Ka Sach" concerning its own MP Swati Maliwal who recently alleged that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's Personal Assistant (PA) Bibhav Kumar abused and assaulted her at the CM residence.

"I think there is some conspiracy behind this. The investigation is ongoing but Bibhav ji is a good person," Punjab Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said.

An FIR was registered in connection with the assault on her yesterday after she filed a complaint with the Police. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's aide Bibhav Kumar has been named in the FIR.

Maliwal was taken to AIIMS Delhi last night for a medical examination. Maliwal underwent a medical test for about three hours at night, in which X-ray and CT scan were done. Her medical report will come today. Swati has suffered internal injuries on her face.

A team of Delhi Police team arrived at the residence of Bibhav Kumar, an aide of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, however, it was denied entry and had to return.

Civil Lines Police had registered a case on the complaint of Swati Maliwal on Thursday, days after the alleged assault. Officials said the FIR has been registered against Kumar under Indian Penal Code sections 354 (assault or criminal force on a woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation), 509 (word gesture or act of intent to insult), 323 (assault), 308 (attempt to commit culpable homicide), 341 (Punishment for wrongful restraint), and 354B (Assault or use of criminal force to woman with intent to disrobe).

"Swati Maliwal had reached CM House by taxi, police will also record the statement of that taxi driver. Statements of everyone who Swati Maliwal met at Kejriwal's house will also be recorded. The location of Bibhav is also being ascertained. Bibhav is likely to be in Amritsar. About 10 police teams are busy investigating the entire matter, out of which four teams are finding out Bibhav's location," sources said.

“The team of Special Cell and Crime Branch of Delhi Police started searching for Bibhav. They are tracing his location. The counter intelligence team of Special Cell also started searching for him. More than a dozen teams have started searching for Bibhav. North District and Crime Branch started investigating the case. The police will make a timeline of the entire incident and will make the complete sequence of that day. According to the sequence, the police will try to find the CCTV footage. There are 8 CCTV cameras installed outside Kejriwal's house. At what time did Swati Maliwal reach CM House on 13th May. Statements of everyone she met at the gate of CM House will be recorded,” sources said.
