Swati Maliwal assault case
The alleged incident which took place on May 13 came to the fore when Maliwal allegedly made a PCR call from the CM residence alleging assault on her. She later filed a police complaint a few days later in which she alleged that Kumar slapped her seven to eight times, 'kicked on the chest, stomach, and pelvis area,' at the Delhi CM house while she was there to meet CM Arvind Kejriwal who was out on interim bail for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
After the case was registered, Delhi Police seized the Digital Video Recorder (DVR) along with other documents from the CM house and sent it to the forensic lab. Moreover, Kumar was also taken to the drawing room of Kejriwal's residence where he had allegedly assaulted Maliwal, to find out details about the sequence of events that took place on the morning of May 13.
