Delhi: A fire broke out at a three-storey commercial building in Delhi's Rohini on Wednesday. The fire department received information about the fire at around 8.35 pm. At least 12 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to control the blaze. The reason for the fire is not known yet.
Relevant authorities were present at the spot to assess the situation.
There are no reports of any casualty, officials said adding that dousing operations are underway.
It is suspected that the fire started from the ground floor of the building which has a showroom of an eyewear company, the officials said.
Fire incidents were also reported in two other place in the national capital.
Such cases are on the rise in the city amid scorching heat and extreme weather conditions.
Earlier today, the power department informed that the Delhi power demand peaked at 8000 MW.
