Delhi Election Results 2024 LIVE: BJP blooms in Delhi, sweeps all seven seats

According to the Election Commission website, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has secured victory in all seven Lok Sabha seats in the capital for the third consecutive time. The BJP emerged triumphant in South Delhi, Chandni Chowk, New Delhi, Northeast, East Delhi, West Delhi, and North-West Delhi constituencies, reaffirming its dominance in the region.

According to the latest update from the Election Commission of India website, BJP won five seats in Delhi. The party registered victory from Chandni Chowk, North-East Delhi, East Delhi, New Delhi and South Delhi Lok Sabha constituencies.

BJP's Ramvir Singh Bidhuri registers victory against AAP's Sahi Ram in South Delhi. The BJP leader won with a margin of 124333 votes. 

BJP's Praveen Khandelwal wins from Chandni Chowk by over 89,000 votes. He has defeated veteran Congress leader Jai Prakash Agarwal from the constituency with a margin of 89325 votes. 

Amid the counting of votes for the seven parliamentary seats in Delhi, BJP leader and a party candidate from North East Delhi seat Manoj Tiwari said, "I want to thank the people of North East Delhi, my party colleagues, PM Modi and senior leadership for choosing me as an MP for the third time. I will fulfill my duty with responsibility." Significantly, Tiwari is leading from North East Delhi constituency with a margin of 137066 votes. 

On BJP's lead on all 7 seats in Delhi, the party candidate from South Delhi Lok Sabha seat, Ramvir Singh Bidhuri said, "BJP is winning all 7 seats in Delhi. The people of Delhi were frustrated with the government of Arvind Kejriwal. He has looted Delhi... There are at least 12 corruption cases against Arvind Kejriwal... The people of Delhi have shown that his place is in Tihar Jail and not in CM House... I am satisfied with the results..."

Amid the counting of votes, celebrations erupted outside BJP headquarters. Party workers and supporters rejoiced to dhol beats and chanted Modi slogans. According to the latest data by the Election Commission of India, BJP has so far won 30 seats and is leading on 211 seats. While the Congress Party is leading on 92 seats.

As per ECI, Nearly 60 per cent of vote counting is done for Delhi Lok Sabha Polls. The vote counting began at 8 am this morning and after 12 rounds the BJP is leading in all 7 seats in the national capital. 

BJP candidate Bansuri Swaraj is leading by 31,594 votes from the New Delhi constituency. She is fighting against AAP's Somnath Bharti.

• North Delhi: Manoj Tiwari by 78,399 votes
• New Delhi: Bansuri Swaraj by 25,448 votes
• North West Delhi: Yogender Chandoliya by 92,252 votes

• South Delhi: Ramvir Singh Bidhuri by 57,955 votes

BJP's Bansuri Swaraj takes lead of 18,480 votes against AAP's somnath  Bharti in New Delhi Lok Sabha Constituency.

BJP's Manoj Tiwari is leading from the North East Delhi with 41,043 votes.

BJP's candidate from Chandini Chowk Praveen Khandelwal takes the lead by 13,941 votes.

BJP's Chandini Chowk Candidate Praveen Khandelwal takes the lead by 13,941 votes. He is fighting against Congress party’s Jai Prakash Agarwal from the constituency.

As per the information received, BJP's Kamaljeet Sehrawat is leading by 31,315 votes against AAP's  Mahabal Mishra in West Delhi.

As per the information provided by the ECI, Kanhaiya Kumar, Congress leader and former president of the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) is trailing from North East Constituency. He is a closet rival of BJP's two-time MP Manoj Tiwari who is leading by 31,547 votes.

BJP candidae Manoj Tiwari is now leading from North East Delhi against congress candidate Kanhaiya Kumar.

As per early trends, BJP is leading on 169 seats while Congress is on 65 seats.

Bharatiya Janta Party is now leading on six seats out of seven seats. However, Aam Admi Party is leading from Chandani Chowk Seat.

The counting of votes are underway. As of now, in New Delhi, BJP's Bansuri Swaraj is leading.

Delhi Minister Gopal Rai says, "We hope for a positive result from the country. We have positive feedback from all the seats AAP is contesting. We have faith that the INDIA alliance will win and it will be an end to dictatorship. We are confident of a victory in Delhi as well. I want to tell the people to continue this fight against dictatorship till the end. We will fight even today when the votes are being counted".

BJP candidate from West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency, Kamaljeet Sehrawat says, "Today is a very big day, not just for me but for the whole of Delhi and India. The results of the votes cast by the people will come out today. I hope that the people have blessed us for the work done in the last 10 years..."

Ahead of the Lok Sabha Election 2024 Results, BJP candidate from New Delhi Lok Sabha seat, Bansuri Swaraj offered prayers at Shri Laxmi Narayan Temple (Birla Mandir) in Delhi.

BJP candidate from Chandni Chowk Praveen Khandelwal said on Lok Sabha Election 2024 counting, "We are winning the Chandni Chowk seat with record votes. BJP is also winning all the seven seats of Delhi with majority ..."

The counting of votes is just a formality because the people of the country believe in the Constitution system, says congress worker Jagdish Sharma.

BJP candidate from Hyderabad, Madhavi Latha says, "The country is waiting for the results...We will get '400 paar'..."

Ahead of the Lok Sabha Election Results 2024, celebration preparations are underway at BJP headquarters.

As per India TV's Exit Poll, BJP is likely to win all seven seats in the Delhi, while, the Congress and AAP alliance may fail to make mark. Clarity on preditctions is expected by late afternoon.

To provide live information on the vote counting, the Election Commission of India (ECI) will set up digital monitors outside the counting centers and mic announcements will be done on the candidates leading in the initial trends.

The information about vote counting will be provided online by the Election Commission of India. One can follow the counting updates on the ECI official website, results.eci.gov.in. 

The vote counting will start at 8 am today, June 4. First, the postal ballots will be counted and then, the EVMs will be opened.
