A massive fire erupted at a furniture market in Delhi's Kirti Nagar on Wednesday. According to the information the incident occurred at around 6:30 pm in block 2 of the area. Following the incident, as many as 17 fire tenders were rushed to the site. So far no casualty has been reported.

Blaze engulfs three stores
According to officials, the blaze engulfed at least three furniture stores in the market. Delhi Fire Service officials said they received a call about the blaze in the furniture shop in Block 2 around 6.30 pm. Police said a short circuit could be the reason for the blaze.
Meanwhile, the police said that they have started an assessment of damages and recording the statement of shop owners," a senior police official said. The showrooms of Me Casha, Godrej, and Durian caught fire, police said.
