Arvind Kejriwal offers prayers at Connaught Place’s Hanuman Mandir, day after exit from Tihar

Kejriwal was granted an interim bail by Supreme Court. He visited Hanuman Mandir at Connaught Place and offered prayers.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday (May 11) visited Hanuman Mandir in Connaught Place and offered prayers, a day after he walked out of Tihar Jail where he was lodged in connection with the money laundering case linked to alleged liquor scam. The Supreme Court on Friday granted him interim bail for campaigning in the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections.

During his visit to the temple, Kejriwal was accompanied by his wife Sunita, who led the charge on behalf of the party in the Chief Minister’s absence, and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. He will hold roadshow in the national capital on Saturday evening.

Kejriwal held a joint press conference with Mann, Sanjay Singh press conference after offering prayers.
