AAP claims 'Satyamev Jayate'

Earlier today, A bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Dipankar Datta granted interim bail to the Delhi Chief Minister in a money laundering case  linked to the liquor scam case.

While granting him bail, the court said that he will have to surrender and go back to jail on June 2. On Tuesday, the bench had hinted towards granting interim bail to Kejriwal to campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Delhi. However, the court at that time made it clear that Kejriwal would not be allowed to discharge any official duties as the Chief Minister. The ED had opposed his bail in the top court. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, also representing ED, told the bench at an earlier hearing that there can't be any deviation only because Kejriwal is CM and asked if the Supreme Court is carving out exceptions for politicians.
