A woman has been found dead at a private school in Noida, triggering panic among authorities. She was identified as Basanti Devi, a 36-year-old housekeeping staff of the school.
A woman has been found dead at a private school in Noida, triggering panic among authorities. She was identified as Basanti Devi, a 36-year-old housekeeping staff of the school.
Basanti had come to the school on Thursday morning but didn't return home till late evening. Her husband called up the school to inquire about her whereabouts but to no avail. Later, he rang up the housekeeping supervisor, following which searches were conducted. She was then found hanging to a tree inside the school campus.
The police are treating it as a case of suicide, however, her family has alleged that she was murdered.
