A 17-year-old student in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad was allegedly forced to strip and was later thrashed with sticks by some other students of his school. According to the details, the student was taken to a forested area in a car where he was assaulted by Class 10 students.

A 17-year-old student in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad was allegedly forced to strip and was later thrashed with sticks by some other students of his school. According to the details, the student was taken to a forested area in a car where he was assaulted by Class 10 students. Prima facie, the police suspect the Class 12 student was thrashed over a girl. The accused had also filmed the incident and had threatened to post it on social media. 

According to a report with Times Now, the 17-year-old boy had gone to meet a girl (a Class 10 student) from his school at nearly 1 pm on September 28. The boy, who was being accompanied by two of his friends, went to meet the girl in his car. 

As soon as the boy stepped out of the four-wheeler and started talking to the girl, four students allegedly caught hold of him. The teenager's friends made an attempt to rescue him but were thrashed by the accused. 

The accused deactivated the victim's social media accounts.

The accused then forced the boy to sit in his own car and made him drive to a forest in Govindpuram. The boy alleged that the accused stuffed a cloth in his mouth and transferred some of his photographs to his mobile phone. 

The accused also deactivated all of the teenager's social media accounts. 

The accused forced the 17-year-old boy to take off his t-shirt and started thrashing him with sticks and belt.

One of the accused recorded a video of the assault and made the boy confess that he was in a relationship with a student of the school. The accused threatened to post the video on social media, warning him against reporting the incident.

A police officer said that the attack seems to be planned. He added, "We are scanning the CCTV footage of the area. In one of the clips, the students can be seen beating up the boy. We are also checking if the girl who had called the boy to the spot us involved in any way. " The accused have been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
